PASSIONATED ABOUT ICELANDHORSES
Close to the city of Berlin, in the middle of the vast, scenic landscapes of the natural park Nuthe-Nieplietz in South Brandenburg the Icelandic Horse Center Lótushof of Vicky and Beggi Eggertsson is located. For horses this is he right place to get optimal conditions living in herds. And the Nieplitztal with its vast meadows, fields, forests and hills provides best facilities for perfect riding tours.
Since 1997, the two successful professionals Vicky and Beggi, train and educate sports and leisure riders successfully. The breeding of the Icelandic Horse Center Lótushof with its own elite broodmares and stallions provides offspring with high potential gaits and excellent riding abilities.
It is characteristic and part of the philosophy of the Icelandic Horse Center Lótushof to train the riders with their horses individually on one-to-one lessons. Besides, this will be accompanied by the optimal schooling of horses in scope of their possibilities.
The equestrian centre owes its name to the most successful Icelandic horse of the Eggertsson family. It is the impressive racing pace horse Lótus frá Aldenghoor, which granted two World championship titles to Beggi in the Netherlands 2007. This success has been continued in Switzerland in August 2009 when he defended his title becoming World champion for a second time in the 250 meter races and Vice World champion in speedpace over 100 meters.
