Our passion is to ride and work Icelandic horse. To us it is especially important to provide both professional and sound basic education and to support horse and rider,
without getting lost of the joy of animals and horseback riding!

It is characteristic and part of the philosophy of the Icelandic Horse Center Lótushof to train the riders with their horses individually on one-to-one lessons. Besides, this will be accompanied by the optimal schooling of horses in scope of their possibilities.

The equestrian centre owes its name to the most successful Icelandic horse of the Eggertsson family. It is the impressive racing pace horse Lótus frá Aldenghoor, which granted two World championship titles to Beggi in the Netherlands 2007. This success has been continued in Switzerland in August 2009 when he defended his title becoming World champion for a second time in the 250 meter races and Vice World champion in speedpace over 100 meters.
